Who do you consider ended up being more sucessful: James Van Der Beek or Joshua Jackson?

I never really liked Dawson's Creek. I sometimes used to channel surf, and sometimes I would watch it just because I thought Joshua Jackson was the coolest. I've started to watch it more now on reruns.


In my opinion, he should've been the star of the show.


I haven't heard much from either one lately.





Which one of the two had a better run?|||I agree Joshua Jackson should have been the star of the show - 'Joshua's Creek' lol. i think he's the better actor and has had a better run with his career after Dawon's Creek ended.





Both Joshua and James have featured in other tv shows since but otherwise neither has been able to maintain the same level of success.





But between the two i think Joshua Jackson has ended up being more successful. In terms of awards Joshua has had 6 wins and 6 nominations (the most recent in 2005 when he won Best Actor for his role in the movie Aurora Borealis )while James has only had 3 wins and 1 nomination (the last being in 2001 for his cameo role in Scary Movie so he's been pretty quiet since..)





So the final verdict: Joshua Jackson has had the better run.|||I would differently have to say Joshua, he has done and grown alot since the end of Dawson's Creek...been in alot more movies independent and major, and I too agree that Josh was and still is a much better actor and he should have been the main character in the show.

|||I would have to say neither one of them both of them kinda dropped off the map after Dawson's Creek was cancelled|||Joshua Jackson had a better run because he starred in the most movies and shows compared to james van der beek|||I used to like Joshua Jackson best - probably because I didn't really like Dawson. Then I watched the Criminal Minds episodes James is in and he was absolutely amazing in them.
