In July 2003 he married his girlfriend for many years, Heather McComb in Miami, CA.. 2003 he had a role in the independent movie "Standing Still", which unfortunately still has not been shown in theatres. One year later in 2005 James tried a new genre with the CBS sitcom pilot "Three", a show about a newly married couple and their friend (his co-stars were Jama Williamson and Zachary Levi).
