Does the colour of a swans beek mean anything?

The shade/color can differ so much! Some are strong orange, others are grey.

Is it a sign of health or age or... what?|||The Mute swan - is very silent one of the heaviest but can fly they are completely white by age of 2- orange bills with black knob at base of bills.

The Whistling- it has a black bill that has a small yellow spot near the eye.

The Whooper-this one is noisy with a black bill with yellow base.

Bewick's very quite bill dark black.

The Trumpeter- Its name comes from its long carrying low pitched call all black bill.

The Black Swan- this breed is an Australia bird has a red fleshy growth on bill (caruncle) Bills black

The Coscoroba is the Smallest of all swans all white bill (unkowenThe Mute -swan babies are called cygnets there bills are black till they reach 1 year old then change to orange

Trumpeterthese have pink close to face then turn black

WhistlingGradually gets black bill during 1 st winter by spring will be black has pink bills with black edges before . So would say the color has to do with the ages.
