What is that flap on the bottom of a turkeys beek?

It's called a "wattle". Bright red on both turkeys and roosters; apparently to attract the females.|||a gobble|||A beard. When hunters shoot wild turkeys, their beard is like a trophy for them.|||i think joya is right. have you even seen it when the turkey gets upset? they turn this blue color! it's crazy!!!! my parents had two turkeys a few years ago!|||it's their testicles
